| This is an EXTREMELY important message to everyone using the system. The professionalism of the call is of VITAL importance. To that end, there are certain rules that you MUST follow in order to have a successful call.
(1) Always call your prospect FIRST. Never dial in to the conference call system and try to 3-way your prospect after. Be EARLY!
(2) NEVER use cell phones or internet phones. It will distort the call.
(3) DO NOT use speaker phones! Your prospect will find it annoying and so will everyone else.
(4) Tell your prospect to find a quiet place in their home (or wherever they are) so the call can happen uninterrupted. If they are near a television, a computer, a radio, and especially young children, MUTE YOUR LINE (by hitting *6 - thats star-6) after you introduce your guest and tell the host you will be muted for the call.
(5) ALWAYS be cheerful!
(6) ALWAYS have a product or business testimonial ready to go. Speakers often call on their co-hosts to share their business or product experiences. It's a good idea to write yours down. 15-30 seconds each is plenty.
(7) If you keep your line open during the call, NEVER have a conversation with someone else who enters the room. Everyone will hear you. It sounds VERY unprofessional.
(8) Conduct yourself as if YOU were giving the presentation. How would YOU want the call to go?
IMPORTANT - You MUST bring your guest to the call EARLY - if you intend to introduce your guest to the host, please be on the call 5 minutes and no less than two minutes early for the call. Your hosts will ALL be on the call 5 minutes prior to the start. Please note that the presentation schedule changes regularly. It is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL TO SHOW UP LATE AND INTERRUPT THE CALL. |
